About

Hi, welcome to Moving with Megan Fitness, I'm happy you are here!

My name is Megan (who would've thought) and I love all things movement. From playing sports in my younger years to training for marathons and races now, I always strive toward bettering myself physically and mentally. I received my ACE Group Fitness Instructor certification in 2020, and fell in love with helping others to reach their fitness goals. I have taught group fitness classes of all sorts including, high intensity interval training (HIIT), strength, circuits, barre, tread, and cycle.

Outside of spending lots of time at the gym and on the trails, I work full-time as a Registered Nurse. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Psychology, Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, and Master of Science degree in Nursing. I have experience in cardiac medicine, spinal cord injuries and disorders, and sports medicine. In addition to my college degrees, I have also achieved certifications such as: American Heart Association BLS, American Heart Association ACLS, and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). I most recently obtained my ACE Senior Fitness Specialist certification in hopes to expand my programs to a greater audience.

What started as a hobby project for friends and family turned into so much more. I create my guides for all levels, as my goal is to meet you where you are in your fitness journey. They are extremely customizable and go at your own pace type of guides. So cheers to getting stronger together!
